Project Oil

First person action horror with immersive sim design values, inspired by Resident Evil/Cold Fear, Death Stranding, The Thing.

On an oil rig stranded over a vast desert environment, players must navigate the dark and claustrophobic interiors of a stranded oil rig infested with monster and fungi-like growth manifested out of oil. The oil is alive, moving and reacting to the changing mechanisms of the oil rig structure. The player must find or craft their own improvised weapons to fight the monsters or learn the mechanisms of the pumps and pipes to move them favorably. The dynamic ooze of the oil keeps backtracking the interiors filled with new challenges.
